What to Check Before You Buy
Safe working load is the headline number, but seat width matters just as much for comfort — measure the user at the widest point and add 2–3cm clearance each side. Also consider whether the user will self-propel (larger rear wheels) or be pushed by a carer (transit style), and check doorway widths at home against the chair's overall width.
