The main frame and seat assembly are covered against defects under normal use for five years from the date of purchase.
The drive motor assembly is covered against defects under normal use for two years from the date of purchase.
The control system, battery, battery charger and other miscellaneous parts are covered against defects under normal use for one year from the date of purchase.
Warranty work must be carried out by an authorised IKON Mobility Warranty Dealer. Normal wear items (tyres, brake pads, upholstery) are excluded.

Yes. The eMetro uses a removable, aeroplane-safe lithium-ion battery, making it suitable for air travel.
Approximately 4–6 hours using the supplied 2Amp Lithium-Ion charger. Never disconnect before the charger light shows green.

Curbs up to 4cm can be managed by approaching at a 90° angle and low speed. Curbs over 4cm should be avoided.
Yes, the scooter comes fully assembled in the box. Just take it out the box, charge it up and you are ready to go!

The eMetro is a lightweight, pull-apart portable mobility scooter designed for easy transport and storage. It folds down flat for the car boot or public transport and is airline travel ready, thanks to its removable, aeroplane-safe lithium-ion battery.

Travelling with Lithium Batteries
This section is only relevant to products with Lithium batteries included. If you product above does not include a lithium battery, please ignore this section as it's universal across our website.
TRAVELING WITH A OXYGEN CONCENTRATOR
The FAA allows these device on board most U.S. aircrafts. If they have a FAA approval, they should allow the oxygen concentrator on board with the supply of the MSDS document. Rapid Medical Supplies can provide this upon request.
IMPORTANT: It is the responsibility of the patient to check with the specific airline carrier when traveling domestically and internationally.
Just because a oxygen concentrator is FAA approved, does not automatically mean a customer will be allowed to take the machine on the plane. It is up to the discretion of every flight, airline, airline pilot etc if the machines or batteries are allowed to be carried on board.
When traveling with the device, be sure to bring the AC Power Supply and the External Battery Charger (if you have
one) with you. It is advisable to use external power (i.e., plugged into a wall) whenever it is available to keep the
battery fully charged.
Bring enough charged batteries with you to power your concentrator for no less than 150% of the expected duration of your flight, ground time before and after the flight, security screenings, connections and a conservative
estimate for unanticipated delays. Note that per FAA regulations, all extra batteries are to be individually wrapped
and protected to prevent short circuits and carried in carry-on baggage onboard aircraft only.
The AC Power Supply cannot be used to charge the device battery when onboard aircraft. If traveling by bus, train
or boat, contact your carrier to find out about power port availability.
