Thumb Brace is made with high quality materials to provide long lasting support to the thumb. This is ideal for sufferers of many types of injury, pain, or trauma to the thumb and surrounding areas. The stabilizer provides support specifically to the metacarpophalangeal joint
The reason this support is so effective is because it has two stays to help lend support. The stays provide complementary pressure to cradle the thumb while not squeezing it to tightly. This also allows for freedom of movement, which is essential to help the healing process and give the user more mobility and independence in life.
There are three straps to adjust the level of pressure and support in different areas. Not all thumb pain is the same. In fact, sometimes my pain is localized more towards the palm of my hand, while other times it is deep in the joints. By adjusting the straps to different degrees of tightness, I can target individual areas. The straps can also be adjusted to fit a wide variety of hand shapes and sizes. For most individuals this support is a one size fits all.
Additionally, the breathable material helps keep the skin free from sweat and moisture buildup. This support can be worn for long periods of time without worrying about skin irritation.
How long will my delivery take?
Every order received by Rapid Medical Supplies before 4pm AEST will be despatched on the same day. We're proud of our track record, which has seen 95% of deliveries to most metropolitan areas made in just 1-2 days. (Express service). Some bulk boxes may be sent by road express, which will delay the shipping by 2-4 business days depending on your state & Territory.
Please note: Bulk items such as Walker/Rollators, Mobility scooters etc are a bulk item and are charged a different shipping rate to the regular items on our site. All rollators will be charged an additional extra freight charge in line with the daily shipping rates given. Unfortunately, these cannot be calculated in the checkout. Remote locations will need to call for a shipping quote as these can also not be calculated at checkout. Same day dispatch does not apply to Scooters & Electric wheelchairs as the first day will be used for QC & Testing to make sure the equipment is working to a satisfactory level before shipped. The Solax, E-Traveller, Sweetrich, Quingo Range all come from our WA warehouse and will take an addition 2-4 business days.
MEDICAL & ESSENTIAL MACHINES:
Specialty machines such as oxygen concentrators, patient monitors, Mobility scooters & mobility aids, suction machines etc. (Ask for other machines) are not dispatched same day as they require 1 business day for QC and testing before dispatch. Unfortunately, we cannot cancel or modify orders for these products after they are finalised. See T's and C's for more info.
